Race Report

RACE-7 MACAU GOLDEN GROUP FAT CHOY BOWL RATING 70-40 (CLASS 3) 1700 METRES (169)

1 Best Season (D Chong) –Was held up for some distance approaching and passing the 400 metres when unable to obtain a clear run.
3 Total Management (W H Lao) –Raced keenly for some distance approaching and passing the 1400 metres. Disappointing performance. Rider reported that it was his intention to be in a handy position however, his mount could not muster sufficient early speed and he ended up further back than anticipated. He advised his mount then commenced to over raced and failed to finish off the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 Nothing To Say (M Cangas) –Shifted in on jumping away and became unbalanced after making contact with 5 Basement. Raced keenly in the back straight.
5 Basement (L Corrales) –After jumping away was brushed by 10 Rivers Elite and shifted outwards making contact with 4 Nothing To Say which shifted in. As a result became unbalanced and lost ground.
9 Truely Love (K K Lai) –Shifted out on jumping away and bumped 7 Danpaoshaq.
10 Rivers Elite (J Cordero) –Performed below market expectations. Rider reported that the gelding never travelled well throughout the event and was a beaten horse at the 400 metres. He added in his opinion it did not handle today’s track conditions.
