Race Report

RACE-6 SJM CHARITY TROPHY RATING 70-50 (CLASS 3) 1500 METRES (193)

1 Best Season (D Chong) –Was slow to begin.
2 Felizmaster (C F Chan) –Over raced in the early and middle stages. Between the 600 metres and until after passing the 400 metres was unable to improve its position.
4 Mission Gdragon (W L Ho) –Over raced in the early and middle stages. Raced wide without cover throughout.
5 Modigmaster (O Doleuze) – Was presented in the mounting yard with blinkers which are not part of its approved gear. As it was his first offence under this rule, Trainer W H Tse was severely reprimanded. Was held up passing the 500 metres until the 300 metres. Disappointing performance. Rider reported that the horse would be better suited on a firmer track. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality and a swab sample was taken for analysis.
8 Elderly Paradise (A Aucharuz) –Was slow to begin. Poor performance. Rider reported this mount traveled well throughout the event, however failed to respond in the straight when put under pressure. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
11 Danpaoshaq (J Cordero) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Had a tendency to lay out throughout the race resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount on two occasions. Rider stated that in his opinion his mount would better suited over short distance than today’s. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality
12 Great Party (W H Lao) –Raced very keenly in the middle stages and approaching the 800 metres had to restrained off heels.
