Race Report

RACE-2 THE BEAUTIFUL CUT RATING 30-0 (CLASS 6) 1500 METRES (369)

1 God Get People (R Curatolo) –Was resaddled behind the barriers. A post race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had suffered a bleeding attack. Trainer K M Chin was reminded of the standard stand down period and actions.
3 Glory Moment (K H Yu) –Rider reported that his mount was making respiratory noises and for this reason, he eased it out of the race in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality other than that the gelding was making respiratory noises. Trainer S Chow was informed to present the gelding to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough examination and including an endoscopic examination. Furthermore 3 Glory Moment will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in an Official Barrier Trial.
5 Rockin Laser (A Aucharuz) –Jumped away very awkwardly, shifted in and brushed 3 Glory Mo and lost ground. Passing the 800 metres had to be steadied, got its head up when placed in restricted room between 9 Shadow Master and 2 St Pedder which shifted in before being straightened by its rider. Jockey A Calder the rider of 2 St Pedder was notified that he would be expected to exercise far more care when in similar circumstances in future. Then got its head up and raced ungenerously for a short distance.
6 Hand By Hand (B Yamzon) –Raced keenly in the middle stages.
8 Cargo Money (J Cordero) –Was inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers at the request of the rider and passed fit to race. Was very slow to begin (3L).
10 Windsor Arch Two (K W Leong) –Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race before giving ground quickly near the 600 metres. Rider reported that his mount was a beaten runner at the point, however he was severely reprimanded for failing to ride his mount to the line and notified that a repetition may lead to action being taken against him.
A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
Trainer K C Chong was informed that 10 Windsor Arch Two will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed in a Official Barrier Trial, at which time it must be competitive.
