RACE-1 THE NARA RATING 30-0 (CLASS 6) 1350 METRES (243)

5 China Cheers (H Lam) – Was slow to begin.
8 Win Perfectly (K W Leong) –Due to the barrier manners of 8 Win Perfectly, Trainer J M Moore was informed that the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial.
9 Auspicious Dragon (A Aucharuz) –Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start shifted out abruptly and crowded 10 Delight Consul which lost some ground.
10 Delight Consul (K K Lai) –Was slow to begin.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
Following the running of the race, the “Enquiry” sign was semaphored to allow the Stewards to review the official video of the start to establish whether 8 Win Perfectly had been afforded a fair start. After reviewing the official video and acting on a report from the Starter, evidence disclosed that as the start was effected 8 Win Perfectly stood in the stall and refused to jump. Under the circumstances 8 Win Perfectly was deemed to be a runner and correct weight was declared.
