Race Report

RACE-3 H.K. & MACAU RETIRED POLICE TROPHY RATING 95-70 (CLASS 1&2) 1500 METRES (285)

3 Lucky Winston (M Wepner) –Near the 100 metres shifted in under pressure and simultaneously 9 Wichita Linesman shifted out under pressure, with both horses coming together.
6 Sheng Li Win (Apprentice K Leung) –Lay out from the 600 metres until the home turn.
8 Sacred Man (C F Chan) –When the start was effected put its head down and was slow to begin.
9 Wichita Linesman (K H Yu) – At the 900 metres shifted off the fence and took 6 Sheng Li Win wider on the track. Near the 100 metres shifted out under pressure and simultaneously 3 Lucky Winston shifted in under pressure, with both horses coming together.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
After the running of the event, Jockey K H Yu the rider of 9 Wichita Linesman (2nd placed getter) and the trainer Mr. K S Wong requested to review the patrol film of the final 100 metres to establish whether there was ground to lodge a protest, however after reviewing the patrol film, they decided not to proceed further.
