RACE-6 THE BOSTON RATING 70-50 (CLASS 2&3) 1050 METRES (52)
3 Sixth Sense (W L Ho) -Was slow to begin. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
5 My Passport (L Corrales) -Jumped awkwardly. Rider reported from the 700 metres turn hung out and raced wide until the home turn. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 Mackinac Island (K K Lai) -Stewards questioned Jockey K K Lai regarding the performance and his ride over the final 700 metres of the race. After taken preliminary evidence, Stewards adjourned the inquiry, time and date to be fixed.
10 Lucky Today (Apprentice K Leung) - A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any
significant abnormality. Trainer Y C Fung was informed that he would be required to present the
gelding to the Veterinary Hospital for thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 11th
November 2017. In addition, in view of the gelding’s unsatisfactory performance will not be
permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial.
11 Happy Vegetable (W Smith) -A swab sample was taken for analysis. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
12 Grateful Favors (B Yamzon) -Was slow into stride.
