RACE-6 THE ST. PETERSBURG RATING 55-30 (CLASS 4) 1510 METRES (237)

2 Yang Jiang Star (W L Ho) -At the 750 had to take evasive action to avoid 3 Surdmaster.
3 Surdmaster (L Corrales) - At the 750 metres broke down in its left fore fetlock and lost ground rapidly causing interference to 4 Woodney and 7 Go Go Mission, with 6 Hostwin Power, 9 Gauteng and 2 Yang Jiang Star having to take evasive action to avoid the gelding.
4 Woodney (B Yamzon) -At the 750 metres was checked outwards by 3 Surdmaster.
5 Eangle Commander (H Lam) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K C Chong was informed that he would be required to present the gelding which had been beaten 18 lengths to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 9th June 2018 and in addition, will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial. The Stewards intend to interview Trainer K C Chong who had left the course regarding the poor performance tonight on Sunday, 17th June 2018.
6 Hostwin Power (W Smith) -At the 750 metres took evasive action to avoid the 3 Surdmaster.
7 Go Go Mission (Y M Choi) -At the 750 metres was checked by 3 Surdmaster. A post race veterinary examination reveal that it was lame in the left foreleg. Trainer Pat Lee was informed that the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary clearance is produced.
9 Gauteng (C F Chan) - At the 750 metres had to take evasive action to avoid the 3 Surdmaster. A post race veterinary examination reveal that it was lame in the left foreleg. Trainer K H Leong was informed that the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary clearance is produced.
