RACE-6 【STAR RIVER ．WINDSOR ARCH】SAND CLASSIC CUP (Group 3 Open) (GROUP 3) RATING O 1350 METRES (174)

2 Victory Megastar (L Corrales) -Near the 250 metres was brushed by 3 Gem Eagle which shifted in under pressure.
3 Gem Eagle (H Lam) -Near the 250 metres shifted in under pressure and brushed 2 Victory Megastar.
6 The Pirate King (M Chadwick) -Was slow to begin. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K M Chin was informed that 6 The Pirate King which had been beaten in excess of 28 lengths will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that it has performed satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial.
7 Ojala (M Nunes) -Raced wide without cover throughout. Rider reported that although he was caught racing wide without cover his mount never travelled comfortably at any stage and was inclined to hang out throughout the race. He added that when under pressure the gelding was wayward in its action and was extremely disappointing. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer M C Tam was informed that he would be required to present 7 Ojala to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 4 March 2019.
9 Hostwin Meraki (Apprentice C L Cheung) -Jumped away awkwardly.
10 Ashkari (S de Sousa) -Was slow to begin. Shortly after the start was steadied when bumped by 6 The Pirate King which was taken in by 9 Hostwin Meraki which was hanging in despite the effort of its rider. After considering all of the circumstances the Stewards took no further action.
