RACE-4 THE SALVADOR RATING 85-55 (CLASS 2) 1800 METRES (239)

1 Brilliant Debbie (J B Hamel) -Jumped away awkwardly.
2 Qian Gua (B Yamzon) -Jumped away awkwardly.
3 Victory Moment (W L Ho) -Leaving the 1500 metres when the pace of the race slowed commenced to over race, resulting in 4 Modena Best which was following racing up onto the heels of 3 Victory Moment and had to be steadied. Leaving the 1100 metres blundered in the going. Cast its left fore plate during the run.
4 Modena Best (L Corrales) -Leaving the 1500 metres when the pace of the race slowed raced up onto the heels of 3 Victory Moment and had to be steadied. Rider reported that his mount settled further back than he had anticipated and due to runners in front of him not appearing to handle the track conditions, he was unable to improve into the race as early as he would have liked. He added when under pressure 4 Modena Best was one paced and may not have handled today’s track conditions.
5 Red Phoenix (K H Yu) -Jumped away awkwardly. Leaving the turn near the 750 metres shifted in slightly and bumped with 3 Victory Moment which at the same time shifted out slightly. Near the 700 metres had to be steadied away from the heels of 8 The Macallan which began to yield ground. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
6 River Treasure (Apprentice C L Cheung) -Hung out on jumping away. Raced wide without cover throughout.
7 Still So Cute (M Tanaka) -Cast its left fore plate during the run.
8 The Macallan (C F Chan) -Began to yield ground near the 700 metres. Rider reported that his mount failed to handle today’s heavy track conditions. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
