Race Report

RACE-1 THE MUNICH RATING 35-0 (CLASS 5&6) 1050 METRES (107)

1 Black Pink (W L Ho) -Jumped away awkwardly. Rider was unable to offer any explanation for his mount’s performance tonight, other than in his opinion 1 Black Pink may have resented racing in the kickback. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K M Chin was informed that he would be required to present 1 Black Pink to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 9 January 2021.
3 Golden Bullseye (K H Yu) - Near the 700 metres made contact with the running rail and had to be eased when inclined to lay in and away from 8 Shooting To Pins which in turn was inclined to lay in and away from 6 Tak Fai Of Pins which was laying in. As Stewards deemed this a racing incident, no further action was taken. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 River Exquisite (B Yamzon) -Had a tendency to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
5 River Prosperity (T Appie) -Raced wide without cover throughout. Near the 250 metres shifted in and brushed 7 Darling Ten. Near the 50 metres was brushed by 7 Darling Ten which shifted out under pressure.
6 Tak Fai Of Pins (W H Lao) -Raced wide rounding the home turn.
7 Darling Ten (F Henrique) -Near the 250 metres was brushed by 5 River Prosperity which shifted in under pressure. Near the 50 metres shifted out under pressure and brushed 5 River Prosperity.
8 Shooting To Pins (L Corrales) -Was slow to begin.
10 Yatholing (S Nakano) -Jumped away awkwardly. Near the 700 metres had to be steadied when laying in across the heels of 8 Shooting To Pins. Was inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight and near the 150 metres was disappointed for a run between 7 Darling Ten and 5 River Prosperity and was obliged to shift in to obtain clear running.
