Race Report

RACE-3 THE ABERDEEN RATING 70-45 (CLASS 3) 1500 METRES (272)

3 Royal Garden (M Tanaka) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 Blackjack Mok (W H Lao) -From the 600 metres was inclined to lay out and made the home turn wide.
5 Eclair Sunshine (Y M Choi) -Was marginally slow to begin and then shifted out shortly after the start.
6 Military Strongman (C L Cheung) -Was slow to begin. Leaving the 250 metres was taken outwards by 8 Winnie Star which was laying out under pressure whilst being ridden along. Jockey L Corrales the rider of 8 Winnie Star was issued a severe reprimand and advised that in similar circumstances, he would be expected to stop ridding and straighten his mounts.
7 Krystrump (B Yamzon) -Was held up on entering the home straight and leaving the 300 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 5 Eclair Sunshine. Was then unable to establish clear running until approaching the 200 metres. Was inclined to lay out under pressure over the final 200 metres and near the 100 metres had to be shifted inwards when awkwardly placed on the heels of 2 Pursuing Eagle which shifted in under pressure.
8 Winnie Star (L Corrales) -Leaving the 250 metres was inclined to lay out under pressure.
