RACE-2 THE JARDIM LOU LIM IOC RATING 30-0 (CLASS 6) 1500 METRES (362)

1 Fair Dream (B Yamzon) -Was fractions in the barriers. Was subsequently taken out of its barrier and underwent a veterinary examination. Acting on veterinary advice that the gelding was lame in the right hind leg, the Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 4:38pm. Trainer S H Cheong was informed that 1 Fair Dream will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial and a veterinary certificate is produced.
3 Master Starkiller (D Barros) -Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers at the request of Jockey D Barros. Acting on veterinary advice that the gelding was lame in the right foreleg, the Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 4:33pm. Trainer W H Tse was informed that 3 Master Starkiller will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that a veterinary certificate is produced.
4 Mission Dragon (S H Huang) -A post race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was lame in the left foreleg. Trainer Pat Lee was informed that 4 Mission Dragon will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial and a veterinary certificate is produced.
6 Honey Biscuit (Y M Choi) -Near the 1400 metres brushed with 8 River Exquisite. Near the 900 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 4 Mission Dragon which shifted in when not fully clear. Jockey S H Huang the rider of 4 Mission Dragon was issued a severe reprimand and was advised to ensure he is sufficiently clear of runners when shifting ground at all times. Near the 750 metres again had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 4 Mission Dragon which shifted in when not fully clear. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer S Chow was informed that he would be required to present 6 Honey Biscuit to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 23 August 2021 and in addition the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial.
