Race Report

RACE-5 THE PROVIDENCE RATING 55-30 (CLASS 4) 1350 METRES (175)

1 City Gold Spirit (C L Cheung) -Approaching the 1300 metres shifted out slightly and had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 7 Farmer's Voice which at the same time shifted in when laying in despite the efforts of its rider. As the Stewards deemed this a racing incident, no action was taken. Raced ungenerously rounding the first turn.
2 Mok Danasty (K H Yu) -Was inclined to lay in throughout and near the 650 metres lost ground when making the turn awkward. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Destiny Flight (B Yamzon) -Near the 1300 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 2 Mok Danasty which shifted in when laying in despite the efforts of its rider. As the Stewards deemed this a racing incident, no action was taken.
4 Sculling Brothers (Apprentice X C Liang) -Made contact with the inside barrier partition on jumping away. Was inclined to shift out under pressure over the final 100 metres
5 Small Waterfall (H Lam) -Knuckled on jumping away.
9 Who Fancies You (S H Huang) -Near the 50 metres shifted out slightly under pressure and was then corrected inwards by its rider when racing close to the heels of 4 Sculling Brothers which at the same time shifted in slightly.
10 Captain Tesla (Y M Choi) -Was slow to begin.
11 Shooting To Pins (T Appie) -Was slow into stride.
