RACE-3 THE FOSHAN RATING 85-60 (CLASS 2) 1510 METRES (235)

2 Bravo Cyclone (K H Yu) -After being loaded was fractious in the barriers. Was taken out of the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination and was subsequently cleared to race. Trainer S H Cheong was informed that a warning had been placed on 2 Bravo Cyclone in relation to its barrier manners.
3 River Unicorn (M Tanaka) -Jumped away awkwardly and made contact with the outside barrier partition, resulting in Jockey M Tanaka becoming unbalanced in the saddle for a short distance.
4 Sheng Tong Express (C L Cheung) -Rider reported that his mount which was having its first start over 1510 metres today, traveled well during the run, however from the home turn was under pressure and did not respond to his riding in the home straight. He added that in his opinion, 4 Sheng Tong Express may be better suited to races over a shorter distance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer W K Lam was informed that he would be required to present 4 Sheng Tong Express to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 9 May 2022.
5 Captain Brentford (A A Rivera) -Over the concluding stages raced close to the heels of 2 Bravo Cyclone which shifted out under pressure whilst being ridden along. Jockey K H Yu the rider of 2 Bravo Cyclone was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
6 Hostwin Prosperits (H Lam) -Was slow to begin.
7 City Lucky Star (W H Lao) -Cast its right front plate.
8 Military Strongman (K F Choi) -After being loaded was fractious in the barriers. Was taken out of the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination and was subsequently cleared to race. Trainer Y C Fung was informed that a warning had been placed on 8 Military Strongman in relation to its barrier manners.
