Race Report

RACE-3 THE FAISALABAD RATING 85-60 (CLASS 2) 1050 METRES (299)

1 Loxwood (L Corrales) -Knuckled on jumping away.
2 Pink Marquise (S Nakano) -Was tightened for room on jumping away between 4 Mr Donut and 5 Sculling Brothers, both of which shifted ground.
3 Arriba Arriba (S H Huang) -Near the 650 metres was eased when awkwardly placed on the heels of 5 Sculling Brothers which was laying in and away from 2 Pink Marquise despite the efforts of its rider.
5 Sculling Brothers (Apprentice X C Liang) -For some distance leaving the 1000 metres was inclined to lay in and away from 2 Pink Marquise. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
6 Sheng Tong Express (K H Yu) -Near the 650 metres was bumped by 7 Diamond Moonlight which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Apprentice Tesuri the rider of 7 Diamond Moonlight was issued a severe reprimand and was advised that in similar circumstances, he would be expected to make a greater effort to prevent his mounts from shifting ground when not fully clear.
7 Diamond Moonlight (Apprentice Tesuri) -Near the 650 metres shifted in and bumped 6 Sheng Tong Express. Thereafter raced wide without cover.
8 Captain Brentford (H Lam) -Shortly after the start was shifted in across runners to obtain a position closer to the running rail.
9 King Of Glamour (M Tanaka) -Knuckled at the start and hung out on jumping away. Leaving the 900 metres rider momentarily adjusted his left side stirrup iron. Was inclined to lay in under pressure over the final 100 metres.
