Race Report

RACE-4 THE DALLAS RATING 70+ (CLASS 1&2) 1510 METRES (162)

1 Wonder Mossman (Apprentice S Meneanen) – Rider reported that his mount traveled well until the 600 metres however was immediately under pressure and failed to run on. He added in his opinion 1 Wonder Mossman at this stage of its preparation would be suited on the turf track. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K C Chong was informed that 1 Wonder Mossman which was beaten in excess of 30 lengths, will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it performs satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial.
5 Healthy Life (K K Lai) –Jumped awkwardly.
7 Victory Megastar (L Corrales) –Near the 1300 metres, commenced to hang out and did so until entering the back straight.
9 Wudang Mountain (W L Ho) –Raced wide without cover until near the 600 metres. Rider reported his mount traveled well in the early and middle stages however when under pressure near the 600 metres the gelding never let down and was disappointing. He added in his opinion 9 Wudang Mountain is better suited on the turf track. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
