RACE-4 MACAU GOLDEN GROUP FAT CHOY PLATE RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1500 METRES (154)

1 Stallion Elite (K K Lai) - A post race veterinary examination revealed that it had suffered a bleeding attack. Trainer K M Chin was informed that the standard stand down period applies and 1 Stallion Elite will not be permitted to race again until it has passed an official Barrier Trial and a veterinary certificate is produced.
4 Roaring Star (F Henrique) -Bumped by 7 Yings Fans on jumping away.
5 Sixth Sense (W Smith) -Was marginally slow to begin. Over the final 150 metres was unable to establish clear running and went to the line without being fully tested.
6 State Source Star (Y M Choi) -Hung out rounding the first turn. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
7 Yings Fans (H Lam) -Bumped with 4 Roaring Star on jumping away. Had a tendency to lay in under pressure near the 100 metres.
8 Beautiful Creative (M Wepner) -A post race veterinary examination revealed that it had suffered a bleeding attack. Trainer K C Chong was informed that the standard stand down period applies and 8 Beautiful Creative will not be permitted to race again until it has passed an official Barrier Trial and a veterinary certificate is produced.
9 Fortune Treasure (M Nunes) -Near the 400 metres was steadied and shifted outwards when awkwardly placed on the heels of 7 Yings Fans which laid out slightly.
10 One Belt One Road (L Corrales) -Approaching the 100 metres was disappointed for a run between 3 One More Again which shifted in and 14 Georgian Ease which shifted out. Was then shifted in across the heels of 14 Georgian Ease to obtain clear running.
11 Sportsmanship (B Yamzon) -Was slow to begin.
12 Bring Me Glory (K Leung) -Raced wide without cover throughout.
13 Nanhai One (W L Ho) -Was marginally slow to begin. Near the 800 metres momentarily raced in restricted room to the inside of 6 State Source Star which shifted in slightly.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
“Correct Weight” was delayed to allow the Stewards to consider an objection lodged by Jockey L Corrales the rider of 10 One Belt One Road (2nd placed getter) against 14 Georgian Ease (S Nakano) being declared the winner for alleging interference in the home straight. After viewing the patrol films and considering all the evidence, it was established that near the 100 metres 10 One Belt One Road was disappointed for a run between 3 One More Again which shifted in and 14 Georgian Ease which shifted out, resulting in 10 One Belt One Road being shifted in across the heels of 14 Georgian Ease to obtain clear running. Taking into account the beaten margin of a neck, the Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that any interference suffered to One Belt One Road warranted a reversal of the placings and dismissed the objection. Correct Weight was then declared.
