Race Report

RACE-4 THE NOVA IGUACU (DIV.1) RATING 40-0 (CLASS 5&6) 1500 METRES (230)

1 Delighted Solution (Y M Choi) -Near the 800 metres raced in restricted room between 7 Highspot and 2 Thunder Bear which shifted out slightly. Cast its left fore plate during the run.
2 Thunder Bear (Apprentice C L Cheung) -Near the 500 metres shifted in and brushed the running rail resulting in Apprentice C L Cheung becoming severely unbalanced in the saddle for a short distance. Rider reported that his mount traveled only fairly in the run and near the 500 metres became unbalanced when it brushed the running rail. He added his mount was then one paced proved very disappointing in the run to the finish. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K H Leong was informed that he would be required to present the gelding to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 4 May 2019.
4 Infinite Treasure (L Corrales) -Jumped away awkwardly. Near the 1350 metres had to be eased away from the heels of 6 House Of Power which shifted in marginally. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
5 Wonderful Power (R Maia) -Near the 50 metres bumped with 6 House Of Power.
6 House Of Power (F Henrique) - Near the 50 metres bumped with 5 Wonderful Power.
7 Highspot (O Chavez) -Raced wide without cover leaving the 700 metres.
8 Easy Thai (H Lam) -Near the 800 metres brushed the running rail.
