The Macau Jockey Club announces that the Macao Gaming Show Cup Day to be held on Friday, 15 November 2013, the Macao Gaming Show Invitational Jockeys Challenge will be held on that race day. The Macao Gaming Show Invitational Jockeys Challenge will be conducted as a three race series for Jockeys from Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey.
The selected races for Invitational Jockeys Challenge are:
- Rating 60-40/ 1,350 metres/ Sand/ HK$240,000
- Rating 60-30/ 1,800 metres/ Turf/ HK$240,000
- Rating 40-20/ 1,500 metres/ Turf/ HK$200,000
Points for the Challenge will be awarded according to the jockey’s finishing position in each race, with the jockey accumulating the highest points at the conclusion of the three (3) races being declared the winner of the Challenge. In the event that two or more Jockeys accumulate the same total points the Club will determine that placing by countback. If the riders cannot be separated by countback they will jointly share the placing. Cash prizes will be awarded to the Jockeys finishing in the 1st-3rd placings during the Challenge.
