Introduction :

The Macau Jockey Club announces that Visiting Jockey Lee Jackson Matthews has been granted a Licence for a period of four months from 15 November, 2013 until 15 March, 2014, both dates inclusive.

The 22 year old Australian Jackson Matthews arrives in Macau having ridden 109 winners (from about 1200 rides) after completing his apprenticeship riding mostly in South Australia and New South Wales. More recently he was apprenticed to Trainer Phillip Stokes at Morphettville after spending time with Trainer Anthony Cummings at Randwick and previously Trainer Leon Macdonald in Adelaide.

He has a riding weight of 119lbs.
