| K H Leong, W L Ho and K Leung
win the Champion Trainer, Jockey and Best Performance Apprentice titles |
The presentation ceremony of The Champion Trainer and Champion Jockey and the Best Performance Apprentice were crowned today. Trainer K H Leong, Jockey W L Ho and Apprentice K Leung won the titles respectively. The winning Trainer and Jockey and Apprentice trophies were presented by Mr Thomas Li, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Macau Jockey Club and Mr Lui Siu Mun, Director of Macau Jockey Club and Dr Rui Jose da Cunha, Director of Macau Jockey Club respectively.
The 2016/2017 Best Performance Horses prize presentation ceremony was held after Race 5, The Champion was “Californiatreasure”, the 1st runner up was “Gauteng” and the 2nd runner up was “Mister Kaopu”. Mr Lam Wai Hung, President of The Macau Race Horse Owners Association presented 2nd runner up trophy, flag and cheque to one of the Owners Mr Lee Koon Leong and Trainer K H Leong of “Mister Kaopu”. Mr Li Hoi Yuen Vincent, Chairman of The Macau Race Horse Owners Association presented 1st runner up trophy, flag and cheque to the Owner Mr Chan Ming Wing and Trainer K H Leong of “Gauteng”. Mr Thomas Li, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Macau Jockey Club presented Champion trophy, flag and cheque to the Owner’s representative Mr Chan Wan Ho and Trainer K H Leong of “Californiatreasure”. Following, Mr Lam Wai Hung, President of The Macau Race Horse Owners Association presented souvenirs to Mr Thomas Li.
