FAIRVIEW (Polytrack)

A right handed all-weather polytrack with a circumference of about 1800m. All races have at least one bend, with races from 1400 to 1800m starting on the bend. The near bend, leading into the home straight, has a slight camber to assist horses racing around it.

Race Summary: ARIKARA is clearly better than her last run would suggest and could contest the finish once again. DESERT WANDERER continues to hold her form and does have a winning chance in this line-up. BARGEME has been disappointing in her last few starts but could improve under a new trainer. PASHTOOSH showed pace on her local debut. MELANDIA was narrowly beaten on debut and can win this.

Race Summary: LIGHT ON HER TOES has done well enough in her recent runs to have a winning chance over a course and distance that clearly suits. SEATTLE MERMAID needs to do a bit more to win but is in fine form and could play a minor role. TASUNKE could be returning to some form and ran on nicely last time out. FLAME OF FIRE ran a good third last time out and could have more wins to come.

Race Summary: HITHER GREEN has yet to win and has had 37 attempts. Her recent form is fair and she could finish in the money once again. JALEIKA only found one too good on her local debut and could make amends for that defeat. ROCK STARDOM has been unreliable but is clearly not out of it. HIPPIE TRAIL is battling to shed her maiden tag but is likely to be involved with the finish once again.

Race Summary: MAHIR ran on Friday 18 January and that run will need to be looked at. TUBULAR BELL ran on well to narrowly win his latest start and only picked up a 2point penalty so can win again but it is a tough race and many have winning chances. DATA LINK is suited to this course and distance. PIN UP FOLD likes the Polytrack and could play a minor place. WHITELEAF HILLS has a chance.

Race Summary: BORDER CONTROL has ability but does not always show it. He has a chance in this line-up. JIKA is doing well in his new yard and should fight out the finish once again. PROSPECT STRIKE is better than his last run would suggest and could earn some money. WISH TO LAND was a good winner on the turf last time out but is as good on the Polytrack. RIVER CAM seems better than last time.

Race Summary: STUDIO BLUES was only run out of it very late last time out and has done really nicely for trainer Alan Greeff. LET IT FLOW flew up late last time and is clearly suited to this course and distance so must be considered. CLOSE TO MY HEART returns from a break but could earn some money. ROMANTIC CRUSADE won well on her local debut. This is a stronger field but she has a chance.

Race Summary: HUMBLE ADDICT made good late headway last time out and remains in good form. He could win a race like this. KEANAN’S ROCK has lacked a strong finish recently but could play a minor role. ALBRANDINO steps up in distance and does deserve some respect. EX NIHILO and LIMESTONE MASS need to do more to win but could earn some money. APOC is in good form and could contest the finish.
