Stipendiary Stewards Inquiry - Jockey F Henrique

General

In Race 2 the Stewards gave permission for Jockey B Yamzon to be substituted as the rider of 8 One From Many as Jockey F Henrique was found to be overweight. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey F Henrique pleaded guilty to a charge under MJC Rule 121 (iii) for having accepted a ride for which he was unable to make the weight and was subsequently fined the sum of HK$1000. In arriving at penalty the Stewards took into account Jockey F Henrique’s guilty plea and his good record in relation to the breach of this rule. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
