The first Racemeeting of “Charity Day” Concluded

The 24th edition of the first racemeeting of “Charity Day” concluded on Sunday, 9 June 2019.

“Wealthy Emperor” won the “ICBC (Macau) Charity Trophy”. After the race, Mr Eric Chan, The General Manager of ICBC (Macau), Mr Patrick Ng, The Deputy General Manager of ICBC (Macau) and Ms Priscilla Leong, The Deputy General Manager of ICBC (Macau) presented the trophies to the winning Owner’s representative, Trainer S Chow and Jockey F Henrique respectively. After that, Mr Nicolas U, The General Manager of ICBC (Macau) presented the Charity Funds cheque to Mr Kwang Eng Seong, Operations Controller of MJC, and Mr Kwang Eng Seong presented souvenirs to Mr Nicolas U in return. Before the race, Mr Owen Kerin, The National Sales Manager of Mitavite presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “Georgian Ease”, and Ms Violetta Lok, Purchasing Manager of MJC presented souvenirs to Mr Owen Kerin.

“Fortune Flyer” won the “2019 Macauslot Charity Trophy”. After the race, Mr Mike Chiu, Sales and Marketing Department Manager of Macauslot presented the trophies to the winning Owner Mr Lee Yu Leung, Trainer K M Chin and Apprentice Jockey C L Cheung. After that, Mr Mike Chiu presented the Charity Funds cheque to Mr Kwang Eng Seong, Operations Controller of MJC, and Mr Kwang Eng Seong presented souvenirs to Mr Mike Chiu in return. Before the race, Mr Owen Kerin, The National Sales Manager of HY Gain Feeds Limited presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “Fortune Flyer”, and Ms Violetta Lok, Purchasing Manager of MJC presented souvenirs to Mr Owen Kerin.

“Pearl Green” won the “SJM Charity Trophy”. After the race, Dr Paul Hung, Assistant Chief Operating Officer of SJM presented the trophy to the winning Owner Mr Chan Ming Wing, and Mr Steve Kok, Director of Casino Operations of SJM presented the trophies to Trainer K H Leong and Jockey O Chavez. After that, Dr Paul Hung presented the charity funds cheque to Mr Lui Siu Mun, Director of MJC, and Mr Lui Siu Mun presented souvenirs to Dr Paul Hung in return. Before the race, Mr Cheng Wing Bor, Executive committee of The Macau Race Horse Owners Association presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “Advance Mission”, and Mr Kwang Eng Seong, Operations Controller of MJC presented souvenirs to Mr Cheng Wing Bor.

“Grexit” won the “L’Arc Macau Charity Trophy”. After the race, Mr Warren Cheung, Management Consultant of L’Arc Macau and Ms Connie Kong, Chief Executive Officer of L’Arc Macau presented the trophies to the winning Owner Mr Chan Yu Fung Bada and Trainer S H Cheong and Jockey W L Ho respectively. After that, Mr Warren Cheung and Ms Connie Kong presented the charity funds cheque to Mr Lui Siu Mun, Director of MJC, and Mr Lui Siu Mun presented souvenirs to Mr Anthony Tam, Hotel General Manager of L’Arc Macau in return. Before the race, Mr Ben Tsui, Director of MSB International Limited presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “Winning Express”, and Ms Violetta Lok, Purchasing Manager of MJC presented souvenirs to Mr Ben Tsui.

“Bring Me Glory” won the “Macau Golden Group Charity Trophy”. After the race, Ms Lou Sao Mui, Chief Operations Officer of Macau Golden Group presented the trophies to the winning Owner Mr Tam Vai Lam and Jockey O Chavez, and Mr Chan Man Si, Vice President of Finance Department of Macau Golden Group presented the trophy to Trainer C F Chan. After that, Mr Chan Man Si presented the charity funds cheque to Mr Lui Siu Mun, Director of MJC, and Mr Lui Siu Mun presented souvenirs Ms Lou Sao Mui in return. Before the race, Mr Lu Yu Jian, Manager of Zhuhai Building lei Trading co. Limited and Mr Zeng Wei Guang, Manager of Zhuhai Building lei Trading co. Limited presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “Magnapegasus”, and Ms Violetta Lok, Purchasing Manager of MJC presented souvenirs to Mr Lu Yu Jian and Mr Zeng Wei Guang.

The MJC is appreciative of all the support from the above organizations/sponsors and their presence during the presentations. The second fixture of “Charity Day” will be held on Saturday, 29 June 2019.

On the same day, the “Lisboa Challenge”(listed) also held in which “Tagmaster” won. After the race, Mr Lui Siu Mun, Director of MJC presented the trophies to one of the winning Owner Mr Lam Ping Ki and Trainer C F Chan and Jockey W Smith. Before the race, Mr Cheng Wing Bor, Senior Honorary Racing Steward of MJC presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “Still So Cute”.
