Stipendiary Stewards Inquiry - Jockey S Ladjadj

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
At a subsequent inquiry, Jockey S Ladjadj the rider of 1 Broadus was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under MJC Rule 132 (i) in that near the 50 metres he permitted his mount to shift in whilst riding it along when insufficiently clear of 6 Numberone Mingxuan which had to be checked and lost its rightful running. Jockey S Ladjadj’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of two racemeetings covering the meetings of Saturday, 4 July and Friday, 10 July 2020. In arriving at penalty the Stewards took into account Jockey S Ladjadj’s riding record and the degree of interference. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
