RACEMEETING: FRIDAY 8 MAY 2020

Race 4: DESTINY’S CHOICE, which raced on Friday 08 May 2020, underwent a full veterinary examination on Saturday 09 May 2020. It was found to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainers K C Tse/ K S Ho were informed that DESTINY’S CHOICE will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary certificate is produced.

Race 6: MASTER STARKILLER, which raced on Friday 08 May 2020, underwent a full veterinary examination on Saturday 09 May 2020. It was found to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer W H Tse was informed that MASTER STARKILLER will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary certificate is produced.

A post race veterinary examination of DIE CASTING ALLOY, DIMAOND GOLD, AMAZING HAPPY, KNOWS IT ALL & DANNY CHOICE, on Saturday 09 May 2020, all failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

RACEMEETING: FRIDAY 15 MAY 2020

A post race veterinary examination of SMART WIN, MOCHI MOCHI, & STEEL ALLOY, on Saturday 16 May 2020, all failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

RACEMEETING: SATURDAY 16 MAY 2020

Race 3: ROCK TO ROAD, which raced on Saturday 16 May 2020, underwent a full veterinary examination on Sunday 17 May 2020. The examination revealed Exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH). Trainer C W Choi was advised that ROCK TO ROAD will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed in a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards and a veterinary certificate is produced.

Race 6: After taking into consideration the recent restructuring of race meetings as well as the current numbers of Jockey’s available, the Stewards have today acceded to a request from Jockey W L Ho to alter his careless riding penalty incurred from the race meeting on Saturday 16th May 2020. Jockey W L Ho was fined the sum of HKD$14,000 in lieu of his 2 race meeting suspension.
