RACE-2 THE KIANGSI RATING 45-15 (CLASS 4&5) 1200 METRES (128)

1 Upper View (R Maia) -Jumped awkwardly. Rider reported that his mount which was having its first race start, raced very greenly throughout and in the home straight was reluctant to stride out and didn’t finish the race off as expected. He added in his opinion 1 Upper View will benefit from the experience and gain fitness from today’s race. A post race swab sample was taken for analysis. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer Y C Fung was informed that he would be required to present 1 Upper View to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 20 January 2019.
3 Infinite Treasure (L Corrales) -Shortly after the start bumped by 7 Lucky Hugo.
4 Tron Friend (W L Ho) -Cast its right fore plate during the run.
5 Moon Walker (F Henrique) -Upon entering the home straight was momentarily placed in restricted room between 6 Prosperity Star and 1 Upper View which raced greenly and was inclined to shift out and away from 4 Tron Friend. Jockey F Henrique was reminded of his obligations to ride all his mounts fully to the finish whenever possible.
6 Prosperity Star (O Chavez) -Raced wide rounding the home turn.
7 Lucky Hugo (J Pescuiso) -Shortly after the start bumped 3 Infinite Treasure.
8 River Colour (K K Lai) -Shortly after the start was eased when awkwardly placed on the heels of 3 Infinite Treasure which after being bumped by 7 Lucky Hugo shifted out.
9 Go Go Fish (H Lam) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
