RACE-3 THE DALLAS RATING 85-60 (CLASS 2) 1500 METRES (120)

1 Eclair Sunshine (D Barros) -Shortly after the start hung out for a short distance despite the efforts of its rider. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Oneofthegreats (S Ladjadj) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 Hostwin Epanoui (F Henrique) -Shortly after the start shifted out and brushed with 9 Krystrump.
5 Gon Sai Baau (W L Ho) -Was tightened for room on jumping away between 4 Hostwin Epanoui and 6 Royal Garden which was taken out slightly by 11 Winnie Star which shifted out. Raced fiercely in the middle stages.
9 Krystrump (T Appie) -Shortly after the start brushed with 4 Hostwin Epanoui which shifted out. Was inclined to hang out from the 600 metres and near the 500 metres raced up onto the heels of 11 Winnie Star and had to be steadied.
10 Beauty Bolt (C L Cheung) -Leaving the 600 metres was eased momentarily away from the heels of 9 Krystrump which when laying out shifted out slightly. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
11 Winnie Star (Y M Choi) -Shortly after the start was buffeted between 6 Royal Garden which shifted in after being corrected by its rider and 1 Eclair Sunshine which hung out slightly despite the efforts of its rider. Was held up rounding the home turn and was unable to establish clear running until near the 200 metres. Over the final 50 metres raced in restricted room between 5 Gon Sai Baau and 8 Simon Fubuki and was unable to be ridden out. Rider reported near the 150 metres he considered taking a run between 8 Simon Fubuki and 4 Hostwin Epanoui, however as he noticed 4 Hostwin Epanoui shifting in under pressure, he then elected to shift to the inside of 8 Simon Fubuki to obtain clear running. He added immediately after shifting his mount inwards, 8 Simon Fubuki then commenced to shift in under pressure and as a result he was unable to ride 11 Winnie Star out over the final 50 metres when racing in restricted room between 5 Gon Sai Baau and 8 Simon Fubuki. The Stewards noted his explanation.
