6 Hostwin Prosperits (J B Hamel) -Raced wide without cover for the majority and rounding the home turn was brushed by 7 Winnie Star which shifted out slightly under pressure.
7 Winnie Star (S H Huang) -Rounding the home turn shifted out slightly under pressure and brushed 6 Hostwin Prosperits.
8 Imperial Eagle (W H Lao) -Shortly after the start shifted in and bumped 9 Star Of Phoenix. For some distance near the 1200 metres raced in restricted room between 9 Star Of Phoenix which shifted out slightly after having its hindquarters brushed by 8 Imperial Eagle and 7 Winnie Star which was inclined to shift in and away from 6 Hostwin Prosperits which shifted in slightly when laying in. As the Stewards deemed this a racing incident, no further action was taken.
9 Star Of Phoenix (H Lam) -Shortly after the start bumped by 8 Imperial Eagle which shifted in. Near the 1200 metres had its hindquarters brushed by 8 Imperial Eagle. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
