2 Lover Paradise (K H Yu) -Approaching the 1400 metres had to be steadied away from the heels of 5 Snow Storm which shifted in when not fully clear. Jockey H Lam the rider of 5 Snow Storm was issued a severe reprimand and was advised that he should be sufficiently clear of runners when shifting ground at all times.
3 Circuit Miles (S H Huang) -Brushed with 8 Fortune Lady on jumping away. Was inclined to shift out under pressure over the final 150 metres.
4 Top Mountainlegend (C L Cheung) -Was slow to begin.
6 Partners' Fortune (S Nakano) -Jumped away awkwardly. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
8 Fortune Lady (Y M Choi) -Brushed with 3 Circuit Miles on jumping away.
