	Introduction :	A.Ngai Allen Ngai joined the then Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club in 1971 as a riding boy. During 1988 to 1992 he went abroad to expand his knowledge in the racing industry and during this time he worked at Sufford Downs, Boston, USA and at Newmarket and Epsom in England. He returned to Macau in 1992, initially as a riding boy and was later promoted to assistant trainer 1993. He was granted a trainer license by MJC in the 1994/1995 season. He is currently one of the leading trainers in Macau. Major achievements in Macau Macau Cup 2007/2008 (Happy Wanderer) Guangdong, HK & Macau Retired Police Trophy 2009/2010 (The Lucky Steed) Y.C.Chan Johnny Y C Chan commenced his career in racing when he joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club Apprentice Training School in 1976. In 1979 he was indentured to trainer Cliff Robertson. After spending five years as an apprentice, Chan became a riding boy and helped out with stable chores. In 1989 Johnny joined the Macau Jockey Club as an assistant trainer attached to former MJC trainer P C Leung. He was granted a trainer’s license in 1991.
