RACE-4 THE BOURNEMOUTH RATING 95-70 (CLASS 1&2) 1200 METRES (119)

2 Oh So Easy (M Nunes) -At about 100 metres after the start, was crowded for room, checked and lost ground. At the 600 metres was taken wide on the track by 3 Sweet Korean. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Sweet Korean (K K Lai) -At the 600 metres over raced and shifted out to avoid the heels of 7 Californiatreasure and took 2 Oh So Easy wider on the track.
5 The Happy Prince (L Corrales) -Was slow to muster speed. At the 130 metres was disappointed for a run. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
6 Yanson (Y M Choi) - At about 100 metres after the start commenced to hang in and severely crowded 2 Oh So Easy and 12 River Control and both checked and lost ground.
7 Californiatreasure (R Maia) -At the 900 metres eased with 3 Sweet Korean having to steady off its heels.
8 My Passport (O Chavez) -At the 300 metres bumped with 9 Bow Noculars. Performed below market expectations. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. When questioned Trainer J Lau stated that the horse has had a tie back operation in Australia and it has breathing issues. The rider said that over the final 200 metres felt unsteady beneath him. The Stewards noted their explanations, however, Trainer J Lau was informed to present the gelding to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination and to include an endoscopic on Sunday, 4 February 2018
9 Bow Noculars (W L Ho) - Shortly after the start shifted out and 11 Autumn Cloud had to check. Jockey W L Ho was issued with a severe reprimand and advised that he should ensure he is clear before shifting ground in future. At the 300 metres bumped with 8 My Passport.
10 Felizmaster (W Smith) -At the 700 metres had to steady off the heels of 3 Sweet Korean.
11 Autumn Cloud (K H Yu) - Shortly after the start had to check when 9 Bow Noculars shifted out.
12 River Control (M Wepner) -At about 100 metres after the start, was crowded for room, checked and lost ground. At the 130 metres shifted in to obtain a clear run.
