Race Report

RACE-3 THE DUNDEE RATING 70+ (CLASS 1&2) 1350 METRES (74)

1 Fasuba (L Corrales) -Rider reported that he had to make use of 1 Fasuba in the early stages to take up a forward position. He added his mount traveled well from the 1000 metres however when the pace quickened near the 700 metres, he placed 1 Fasuba under pressure where it responded briefly. He further added thereafter 1 Fasuba did not respond to his riding and in the home straight shortened stride and was disappointing. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer M C Tam was informed that he would be required to present 1 Fasuba to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 29 November 2020.
2 Pearl Green (B Yamzon) -Shortly after the start had to be steadied when tightened for room between 8 Crispy Biscuit which shifted in and 6 Simply Impeccable which shifted out after being bumped by 4 Mountain Tiger which in turn shifted out after being brushed by 1 Fasuba. As the Stewards deemed this to be a racing incident, no action was taken.
3 Kelowna Star (J B Hamel) -Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out.
4 Mountain Tiger (C L Cheung) -Shortly after the start was brushed by 1 Fasuba and shortly after shifted out bumping 6 Simply Impeccable.
6 Simply Impeccable (S Ladjadj) -Shortly after the start was bumped by 4 Mountain Tiger . Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Was inclined to lay in under pressure over the final 50 metres.
8 Crispy Biscuit (W L Ho) -Near the 1200 metres raced ungenerously for a short distance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer Pat Lee was informed that he would be required to present 8 Crispy Biscuit to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 29 November 2020. In addition 8 Crispy Biscuit which had been beaten in excess of 29 lengths will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial.
10 Tavezbac (H Lam) -Stood flat footed and lost ground. Trainer K M Chin was informed that 10 Tavezbac will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial in relation to its barrier manners.
