Race Report

RACE-4 THE QIQIHAR RATING 70-45 (CLASS 3) 1350 METRES (212)

2 Tuhao Choice (L Corrales) -Rider accidentally dropped his whip near the 150 metres.
3 Military Strongman (C L Cheung) -Near the 1200 metres was bumped by 7 Blue Glory. On entering the back straight had to be eased when momentarily tightened for room between 1 Fortune Paradise and 7 Blue Glory which shifted out when laying out.
6 Falcoshow (S Ladjadj) -Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. Near the 250 metres laid in under pressure and had to be corrected by its rider.
7 Blue Glory (D Barros) -Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out despite the efforts of its rider hampering 8 The Moon's Back which in turn shifted out hampering 9 Collateral Mission. Trainer Y C Fung was informed that a warning would be placed on 7 Blue Glory in relation to its racing manners. Rounding the first turn near the 1200 metres raced ungenerously, made contact with the running rail, became unbalanced and shifted out bumping 3 Military Strongman. Rider reported that his mount jumped away awkwardly and was under pressure from the 800 metres. He further added that on pulling up he had concerns with his mount’s action. A post race veterinary examination at the request of the rider failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer Y C Fung was informed that he would be required to present 7 Blue Glory to the Veterinary Hospital on Saturday, 10 April 2021 for a thorough veterinary examination.
8 The Moon's Back (W H Lao) -Was hampered by 7 Blue Glory on jumping away.
9 Collateral Mission (F Henrique) -Was hampered by 8 The Moon's Back on jumping away which in turn was hampered by 7 Blue Glory which jumped away awkwardly and shifted out. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
