RACE-3 MACAU GUINEAS (TRIPLE CROWN - 1st Leg) 4YO (GROUP 1) 1500 METRES (283)

2 Bygone Era (L Corrales) -Leaving the 1000 metres when the pace of the race slowed raced fiercely on the heels of 1 Pursuing Eagle.
3 Cumberbatch (K H Yu) -Near the 850 metres shifted out slightly and was eased away from the heels of 7 Desi Prince.
4 Yuanno (M Tanaka) -For some distance leaving the 1100 metres when the pace of the race slowed raced fiercely on the heels of 2 Bygone Era.
5 Cheers Brothers (C L Cheung) -Near the 1350 metres was steadied when momentarily tightened for room between 11 Lucky Double which shifted in slightly and 9 Mystery Dancer which shifted out slightly when laying out. As the Stewards deemed this a racing incident, no action was taken. Near the 750 metres blundered. Raced wide without cover from the 500 metres.
6 Out To Win (S Nakano) -Was buffeted between 9 Mystery Dancer and 14 Lucky To Win on jumping away.
8 Sheng Tong Express (T Appie) -Prior to the race Trainer W K Lam informed the Stewards, that from the draw and due to the speed of runners drawn to its inside, he would be instructing Jockey T Appie to go back at the start and obtain a position closer to the running rail should circumstances permit. Was resaddled behind the barriers. Raced wide without cover throughout. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 Mystery Dancer (K F Choi) -Bumped with 6 Out To Win on jumping away.
10 Handsome Alloy (B Yamzon) -Was inclined to hang in under pressure in the home straight and proved difficult to ride out. Trainer C W Choi was informed that a warning had been placed on 10 Handsome Alloy in relation to its racing manners. Trainer C W Choi was also informed to present 10 Handsome Alloy to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 19 June 2022.
11 Lucky Double (A A Rivera) -Near the 300 metres shifted out slightly under pressure and then blundered after clipping the heels of 7 Desi Prince which when tiring, shifted in and away from 10 Handsome Alloy which shifted in when hanging in despite the efforts of its rider. After considering all of the circumstances, the Stewards issued a warning on 10 Handsome Alloy in relation to its racing manners.
13 Senior (S H Huang) -Prior to the race Trainer W L Ho informed the Stewards that from the wide draw and due to the speed of runners drawn to its inside, he would be instructing Jockey S H Huang to go back at the start and obtain a position closer to the running rail should circumstances permit.
14 Lucky To Win (Apprentice X C Liang) -Bumped with 6 Out To Win on jumping away.
