Race Report

RACE-2 THE BAGUIO (TURF) RATING 55-30 (CLASS 4) 1500 METRES (154)

2 Famous Nathan (Y M Choi) -Approaching 1300 metres improved quickly to the inside of 1 Absolute Star, and shifted out slightly and then had to be restrained from the heels of 1 Absolute Star which also shifted in slightly. In all the circumstances, both riders Y M Choi and K H Yu were notified that they must exercise far more care when entering turns and when in similar circumstances in future. Approaching 100 metres became unbalanced after being brushed by 5 Galaxy Warship.
4 Top Mountainlegend (C L Cheung) -Stood flat footed when the gates were released and lost ground. Rider C L Cheung explained when questioned that his mount was slow to begin and then settled at the rear of the field, in line with his instructions and when he placed it under pressure from the 400 metres, it was somewhat one paced to the line.
5 Galaxy Warship (L Corrales) -Approaching 100 metres shifted out under pressure and bumped 2 Famous Nathan. Jockey L Corrales the rider of 5 Galaxy Warship was notified that he must stop riding and straighten his mounts sooner than he did on this occasion.
6 Courier Specialty (I Poullis) -
7 Aeras (K F Choi) -At the 200 metres became unbalanced when bumped by 1 Absolute Star which shifted out slightly under pressure. Near 100 metres again became unbalanced after making contact with 1 Absolute Star.
8 Lucky To Win (W H Lao) -Raced very keenly through the early and middle stages.
