Introduction :

Visiting Jockey Ruben Silvera has been granted a Visiting Jockey Licence from 8 May 2013 to the remainder of 2012/13 Season.

Panamanian jockey R Silvera was one of the rising stars in Panama in recent years. He started his apprenticeship in 2003 and after just six months he was promoted to a senior rider. Ranked third in the Panamanian Jockeys’ Standing, the following year he came to Macau and year 2010 he had been invited to ride in Panama and relinquish his Jockey licence. His last rode in Macau on 22 May 2010. Jockey R Silvera had 586 career winners and has ridden in Macau, Panama, Hong Kong and USA.

He is currently licenced in New York State where he has ridden for the past three year.
