Stipendiary Stewards Inquiry - Jockey W L Ho

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
The Stewards inquired into an incident leaving the winning post on the first occasion where 6 Luen On Treasure was checked. Evidence was taken from the riders of 8 Victory Moment (W L Ho) and 6 Luen On Treasure (F Henrique). Jockey W L Ho the rider of 8 Victory Moment pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MJC Rule 132 (i) in that leaving the winning post on the first occasion, he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of 6 Luen On Treasure which had to be checked. Jockey W L Ho’s license to ride in races was suspended for one racemeeting covering the meeting on Saturday, 20 July 2019. In arriving at penalty, the Stewards took into account his guilty plea, his record, the degree of interference and the racing manners of 6 Luen On Treasure at the point of the incident where it was inclined to over race. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
