| Treasure Island Resorts World Macau Derby and Chairman’s Challenge Cup to
be held this Sunday |
Treasure Island Resorts World Macau Derby (Triple Crown - 2nd Leg) (Group 1), YOHO: Co-Tai Mount Peak Race (Named Race) and The Macau Roosevelt Race (Named Race), sponsored by YOHO Group, will be held as Race 4, Race 5 and Race 6 on 7 August 2022 Racemeeting. Chairman’s Challenge Cup (Group 1) will also be held as Race 3 on that day. Ms Leong On Kei, Chairman of MJC will be officiated at the prize presentation ceremony.

This year the Macau Derby is sponsored by YOHO Group. Based in Macau, YOHO Group is mainly engaged in real estate development, construction, hotel business, large-scale warehousing & dormitories, and trade. The Group is rooted in Macau and strives to contribute to the rapid expansion of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Bay Area, and to grow with the Macau economy.
Carrying the prizemoney of $2,300,000, the Treasure Island Resorts World Macau Derby (Triple Crown - 2nd Leg) (1800M) is delayed due to the pandemic, all horses will run as 5YO. There will be no allowance for freelance jockeys or apprentices. Carrying the prizemoney of $800,000, Chairman’s Challenge Cup (Group 1) is an open event over a distance of 1200 metres on turf. There will be no allowance for freelance jockeys or apprentices.
