“CHEERS BROTHERS” and “STAR OF YIU CHEUNG”
win “Treasure Island Resorts World Macau Derby” and “Chairman’s Challenge Cup” |
“CHEERS BROTHERS” and “STAR OF YIU CHEUNG” won the “Treasure Island Resorts World Macau Derby” and “Chairman’s Challenge Cup” held on Sunday, 7 August 2022 respectively.
After the “Treasure Island Resorts World Macau Derby”, Mr Mike Lam, YOHO Group Executive Director, Mr Fan Wing Ting, Forward Fashion Chairman, Mr Fong Yat Ming, Forward Fashion Executive Director presented the trophies to the Winning Owner’s representatives Mr Chen Ching Lung and Mr Lee Yuen Fat, Trainer J Lau and Jockey C L Cheung respectively. After that, Ms Leong On Kei, Chairman of Macau Jockey Club and Ms Claudia Ao, YOHO Group Chairman exchanged souvenirs as thanks. Before the race, Mr Jack Ung, Kuok Vui Property Director presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “CHEERS BROTHERS”. Race 5 YOHO: Co-Tai Mount Peak Race (Named Race) and Race 6 The Macau Roosevelt Race (Named Race) were also sponsored by YOHO Group. This year the Macau Derby is sponsored by YOHO Group. Based in Macau, YOHO Group is mainly engaged in real estate development, construction, hotel business, large-scale warehousing & dormitories, and trade. The Group is rooted in Macau and strives to contribute to the rapid expansion of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Bay Area, and to grow with the Macau economy.
After the “Chairman’s Challenge Cup” race, Ms Leong On Kei, Chairman of Macau Jockey Club presented the trophies to the Winning Owner’s representative, Trainer W Smith and Jockey S Nakano respectively. Before the race, Mr Lau Yiu Tong, Honorary Racing Steward of Macau Jockey Club presented the Best Performance Mafoo award to the Mafoo of “GON SAI BAAU”.
