2 Crown Of Gold (L Corrales) -Was inclined to lay out rounding the home turn.
3 Striking Achiever (F Henrique) -Jumped away awkwardly.
4 Oneofthegreats (J B Hamel) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
5 Sport Genius (B Yamzon) -Was slow to begin.
7 Luen On Dance Kid (S Nakano) -The Stewards questioned Jockey S Nakano with regards to his riding of 7 Luen On Dance Kid in the home straight. Jockey S Nakano stated that throughout the race, 7 Luen On Dance Kid was unbalanced in its action, resented racing in the kickback and was not striding freely. He added in the early stages of the home straight, he elected to ride his mount hands and heels only in an attempt to keep his mount balanced, however after applying the whip leaving the 200 metres, 7 Luen On Dance Kid did not respond to his riding and did not finish its race off. After considering all of the circumstances and whilst the Stewards noted his explanation, Jockey S Nakano was nevertheless reminded of his obligations to ride all his mounts in such a manner as to leave no room for query.
9 Grexit (C L Cheung) -Jumped away awkwardly. Rounding the home turn was disappointed for run between 4 Oneofthegreats and 1 Desi Style and was obliged to shift in across the heels of 4 Oneofthegreats to obtain clear running.
