RACE-1 THE CHEKIANG RATING 30-0 (CLASS 6) 1350 METRES (1)

1 Destney (L Corrales) -Reared on jumping away. Near the 1200 metres had to be eased when momentarily tightened for room between 9 Joyful Commander and 2 Wealthy Emperor which shifted in after being bumped by 5 Pride Sprint which in turn shifted in when inclined to lay in. A warning was issued on 5 Pride Sprint in relation to its racing manners. Rider reported that his mount travelled fairly to the 600 metres, however from that point on was under pressure to maintain its position. He added when under pressure in the home straight 1 Destney was inclined to race with its head up, was one paced and never finished its race off. A post race swab was taken for analysis. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.

3 Fair Dream (B Yamzon) -Leaving the 700 metres had a tendency to hang in. Rider reported
that his saddle slipped to the right side rounding the first turn.
4 Master Starkiller (W H Lao) -Near the 1300 metres was eased when momentarily racing in restricted room between 2 Wealthy Emperor which shifted out slightly and 5 Pride Sprint which shifted in when laying in. Was inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
5 Pride Spint (K H Yu) -Was inclined to lay in during the early stages. Trainer C F Chan was informed that a warning had been placed on 5 Pride Spint in relation to its racing manners.
8 Golden Bullseye (Y M Choi) -Shifted out on jumping away and brushed 10 Yatholing. Raced fiercely in the early stages and near the 1100 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 4 Master Starkiller.
10 Yatholing (T Appie) -Brushed by 8 Golden Bullseye on jumping away.
