1 Red Phoenix (W H Lao) -A post race veterinary examination revealed that 1 Red Phoenix was lame in the right foreleg. Trainer S H Cheong was informed that 1 Red Phoenix will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that a veterinary certificate is produced.
2 Bring Me Power (B Yamzon) -Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers at the request of Jockey B Yamzon and was passed fit to race.
5 Small Waterfall (S Nakano) -Near the 900 metres shifted out slightly and had to be steadied away from the heels of 4 Pink Marquise which shifted in abruptly whilst being ridden along before being corrected by its rider. Jockey L Corrales the rider of 4 Pink Marquise was issued a severe reprimand and was advised that in similar circumstances, he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mount sooner than he did on this occasion. Cast its right front plate.
7 Luen On Mammon (F Henrique) -Jockey F Henrique the rider of 7 Luen On Mammon was issued with a severe reprimand for failing to ride his mount out fully to the finish.
