RACE-3 THE BURY RATING 85-60 (CLASS 2) 1200 METRES (119)

1 Bottmingen (L Corrales) -Bumped by 6 Hostwin Prosperits on jumping away. Near the 900 metres had to be steadied when momentarily tightened for room by 9 Hostwin Shadow which shifted in when not fully clear. Jockey A A Rivera the rider of 9 Hostwin Shadow was issued a severe reprimand and he was advised he is to ensure he is sufficiently clear of runners when shifting ground at all times. Faltered near the 400 metres and was then eased out of the race. Rider reported that his mount traveled comfortably during the race and near the 400 metres when he placed 1 Bottmingen under pressure, 1 Bottmingen faltered after changing lead legs and as he had concerns with his mount’s action, he elected to ease it out of the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed that 1 Bottmingen was severely lame in the right foreleg. Trainer G Allendorf was informed that 1 Bottmingen will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that it has performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial and a veterinary certificate is produced.
2 Diamond Moonlight (S Nakano) -Bumped with 3 Pearl Green on jumping away.
3 Pearl Green (K F Choi) -Bumped with 2 Diamond Moonlight on jumping away.
4 River Unicorn (S H Huang) -Leaving the 600 metres raced up onto the heels of 1 Bottmingen and had to be steadied.
6 Hostwin Prosperits (Y M Choi) -Bumped 1 Bottmingen on jumping away.
