The Macau Jockey Club is pleased to announce the following privilege for the Club’s owners:
The 2017/18 MAY Freight Subsidy Scheme (MJCFS-May18)
To send at least 40 and up to 80 horses in one consolidated flight originating from Australia and New Zealand to Macau, whereby the number of horses in the shipment will decide the magnitude of subsidy i.e.
40 horses HKD13,000
50 horses HKD15,000
60 horses HKD17,000
70 horses HKD19,000
80 horses HKD21,000
Target up to date of shipment: Quarantine closes 11 May 2018 / Flight ETA Macau 4 June 2018
Terms and Conditions:
1. Under the 2017/18 May Freight Subsidy Scheme (MJCFS-May2018) all owners shall be eligible for the Freight Subsidy on the provision that one owner or a syndicate is entitled to subsidy for a maximum of up to 5 horses only.
2. Upon arrival of the MJCFS-May2018 horses, the eligible Freight Subsidy settlement shall apply :
i. The initial 50% of the total applicable freight subsidy will be credited to the Owner’s account issued at the end of the 6th month following arrival.
ii. The remaining 50% balance will be credited to the Owner’s account by monthly installments over a 5 months period, from the end of the 7th month.
3. Owners of the MJCFS-May2018 horse remain liable for the freight and all incidental costs incurred during the shipment process or prior to the shipment.
4. No transfer of ownership of the MJCFS-May2018 horse will be permitted within the first 12 months post arrival Macau.
5. Any privileges enjoyed by the owner and attached to MJCFS-May2018 horse will cease in the event of an ownership transfer or upon the retirement of the horse.
6. MJC reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject a MJCFS-May2018 application, without assigning any reason thereof.
7. Existing MJC Membership Bye Laws, Terms and Conditions remain applicable and enforceable.
8. The MJCFS-May2018 cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
9. MJC reserves the right to cease, alter or amend the content of this scheme, including the terms and conditions as may be deemed appropriate without assigning any reason thereof.
