Race Report

RACE-2 THE LIAONING RATING 45-25 (CLASS 4&5) 1500 METRES (62)

2 Tron General (B Yamzon) –Knuckled after jumping away and lost ground. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Luen Yat Command (W L Ho) –Was resaddled on arrival at the barriers. Raced four wide without cover before obtaining a position with cover passing the 800 metres.
6 Zirconium Alloy (H Lam) –Was slow to begin (1L). Raced three wide without cover.
7 Modena Success (L Salles) –Was slow to begin (1L). Near the 800 metres was tightened and taken in off its course by 3 Luen Yat Command which shifted in when not quite clear, as a result Rider L Salles became unbalanced. Jockey W L Ho the rider of 3 Luen Yat Command was severely reprimanded and informed to exercise more care in future.
8 Hit The Bull (R Curatolo) –Raced wide without cover before obtaining a position closer to the rails passing the 800 metres.
10 Great River (K H Yu) –Was marginally slow to begin.
11 Road To Victory (K W Leong) –Was marginally slow to begin. Beaten in excess of 43 lengths. Rider explained that the gelding was unbalanced throughout the run. Trainer W H Tse was informed that the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed competitively in an official barrier trial and he was also informed to present the gelding to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 14 November 2015.
