2 Hostwin Winbull (Apprentice X C Liang) - Approaching the 800 metres, rolled in
3 Ka Ying Happy (L Corrales) - Brushed 7 Fasuba on jumping away. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality
4 Follow The Nature (K H Yu) - A post race veterinary examination by the request of the rider revealed the gelding was lame in its right foreleg.
5 Monsignor (S H Huang) - Brushed the running rail near the 1200 metres.
6 Number Zero (K F Choi) - Was slow to begin, raced ungenerously for a short distance.
7 Fasuba (Apprentice Tesuri) - Had to be eased from heels of 9 Precious Asset near the 1200 metres.
8 Pearl Big Brother (R Maia) - Raced wide without cover for the majority. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality
9 Precious Asset (Apprentice L Li) - Jumped outwards, bumping 1 Hostwin Achilles.
