	Introduction :	26 year old French Jockey Gaetan Faucon commenced his Apprenticeship with 3 times Champion Trainer Henry Vande Poule at Chantilly. In less than 2 years Gaetan was granted a Professional Jockeys License after riding the mandatory 70 winners. Riding for many leading Trainers and Owners, including the Wildenstein Family Gaetan has ridden over 350 winners, including Many Group and Listed races. In the past 3 year Gaetan has been riding in Mauritius attached to the 9 time champion trainer of Mauritius Serge Henry and has finished in the top 3 position in the jockeys premiership every year, including an equal first with South African Jockey Shamon Brown and a second behind Champion New Zealand Jockey Shane Dye. Gaetan’s goes to the scale at 118 pounds. His minimum riding weight is 118 lbs.
