Filipino Martin Cangas commenced with the Macau Jockey Club Apprentice School in 2008 and commenced race riding in 2009. He was twice runner-up for the Champion Apprentice Title in 2011 and 2012. Cangas represented Macau in the 2013 Australasian Racing Bloodstock International Jockeys Championship in Malaysia. His riding weight is 118lbs.
