RACE-4 THE CASTLEFORD RATING 60-30 (CLASS 3&4) 1600 METRES (389)

2 Classical Music (B Yamzon) –At the entrance to the straight was inconvenienced by 10 The Precious Prime which shifted out to obtain a clear run. Jockey B Yamzon was fined the sum of HK$3,000 for failing to weigh in. In arriving at this decision, the Stewards took into account that this was his first offence.
3 Truely Love (M Cangas) –Raced wide without cover.
5 Happy And Healthy (W Smith) –Was slow into stride. Poor performance. Rider was unable to offer any tangible explanation. Trainer K S Cheong was informed that the gelding which had been beaten 41 lengths will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed competitively in an official Barrier Trial.
6 Nickel Alloy (H Lam) -
7 Gem Fighter (L Corrales) –Bounded in the air when the gates were released. Leaving the straight on the first occasion was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of 4 Cali Fortune. Raced keenly through the middle stages. For a short distance approaching the 450 metres was held up when unable to improve his position.
8 Road To Victory (W L Ho) –Was marginally slow to begin. Poor performance. Rider was unable to offer any tangible explanation. Trainer W H Tse was informed that the gelding which had been beaten 41 lengths will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed competitively in an official Barrier Trial.
10 The Precious Prime (L Salles) –Jumped away awkwardly and struck the inside gate. Approaching and passing the 200 metres shifted ground when being struck with the whip.
